The market bets on BlackRock executive Rieder as a top candidate for Federal Reserve ChairmanAccording to a report by Jinse Finance, citing AXIOS, traders on prediction markets are betting that the odds of BlackRock executive Rick Rieder becoming the next leader of the Federal Reserve have risen significantly. On Thursday morning, on the Polymarket platform, Rieder had a 30% chance of being chosen by Trump as the next Fed chair, second only to former Fed governor Kevin Warsh at 45%. Ten days ago, Rieder's probability in the market was only 3%. His support has increased mainly at the expense of White House economist Hassett. Last month, Hassett was the frontrunner (his odds peaked at 85% on December 2), but they have now dropped to 6%.
