Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin has an open attitude towards Meme coins
As the Meme coin craze deepens, well-known figures in the crypto field are starting to confront these tokens that have emerged overnight. Renowned anonymous crypto blogger Polynya posted a blog condemning the "moral decay" in the crypto field. Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin commented on this, acknowledging the negative aspects of Meme coin culture, but he values "people's desire for fun", believing that Meme coins can be a way to do good things. He listed examples such as charity-focused tokens and "Robin Hood games" (like Axie Infinity) that bring economic benefits to low-income players. In addition, Variant Fund partner Li Jin made a business case for Meme coins, arguing that viral tokens are an effective marketing strategy for founders.
