All three major U.S. indices closed slightly lower, with the Nasdaq down 0.23%, up 2.38% for the week; the Dow down 0.22%, up 0.29% for the week; and the S&P 500 down 0.11%, up 1.32% for the week. Most of the large technology stocks fell, Google, Nifty fell more than 1%, Tesla, Nvidia, Microsoft, Amazon, Meta rose slightly; Intel, Apple rose more than 1%. GameStop plunged more than 39%, its biggest drop in three years. The company's Q1 revenue of $882 million fell short of the $1.237 billion reported in the same period a year ago and missed estimates of $995.5 million.
