US officials: American fighter jets are patrolling the skies over the Middle East
On June 13 local time, a U.S. official stated that American fighter jets are patrolling the skies over the Middle East to protect personnel and facilities. Meanwhile, the U.S. Navy has ordered the USS Thomas Hudner, a destroyer capable of defending against ballistic missiles, to move from the western Mediterranean to the eastern Mediterranean.
