Arthur Hayes: Most Altcoins Will Struggle to Rise
According to Jinse Finance, Arthur Hayes stated in a recent interview that most altcoins will find it difficult to appreciate in value, primarily because they lack product-market fit and fail to return protocol revenue to users. He pointed out that the current market is flooded with VC-backed tokens that have high valuations but low liquidity. These projects have raised significant funds, yet struggle to attract users willing to pay for their services. Once prices decline, it becomes very difficult for them to regain market favor. Hayes believes that only projects with genuine market fit, the ability to attract user spending, and mechanisms to return protocol revenue to users have real growth potential. He also predicted that when Bitcoin’s market dominance reaches 65%, altcoins may see a new round of upward momentum.
