Prediction markets show Kevin Warsh has surpassed Kevin Hassett in probability of being elected as Federal Reserve Chair
Jinse Finance reported that data from the prediction market Kalshi shows that the probability of Kevin Warsh being elected as the Federal Reserve Chairman has surpassed that of Kevin Hassett, with the former currently at 49% and the latter at 48%. Another candidate, Christopher Waller, has a support rate of 4%. Previous reports indicated that Hassett's candidacy for the Federal Reserve faced resistance due to his relationship with Trump, raising concerns about the Fed's independence. Amid these concerns, Warsh's support rate has risen, and the market has responded quickly.
