The Hong Kong Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau and the Securities and Futures Commission jointly issued a consultation summary, proposing legislative recommendations to establish a licensing regime for virtual asset trading and custody service providers, and launched a one-month public consultation regarding the licensing regime for virtual asset advisory and management service providers.
