U.S. stocks open: Dow Jones down 0.6%, S&P 500 up 0.27%

Corning (GLW.N) shares rose 7.8% as Meta will pay up to $6 billion in procurement fees. General Motors (GM.N) shares rose 5.4% as its core profit for the fourth quarter exceeded market expectations.
