Web3 identity layer idOS to launch IDOS token, announces tokenomics and revenue sources

Foresight News reported that the decentralized identity protocol idOS has announced the IDOS tokenomics and revenue sources: The IDOS token is based on the ERC-20 standard and deployed on Arbitrum One, with a total supply of 1 billion tokens. The token is primarily used for staking to secure the storage network, protocol value capture and distribution, and to promote the progressive decentralization of the protocol. In terms of revenue sources, protocol fees include: Gas fees (generated by data read/write operations, 100% allocated to node operators) and access authorization fees (paid in stablecoins, with the protocol taking 25% at the initial stage). In addition to protocol fees, other institutions (such as data issuers) can also generate revenue by utilizing the idOS protocol.

According to previous Foresight News, idOS completed a $4.5 million funding round in July 2024, led by Fabric Ventures.
