According to Bijie Network: The threat of quantum computing to bitcoin is shifting from a distant concern to an imminent planning issue, with analysts pointing out that about one-third of bitcoin may be at risk. In response to this threat, initiatives such as the newly established $2 million quantum defense team by the Ethereum Foundation have emerged. Meanwhile, qLabs will launch the qONE token presale on February 5, 2026, to promote its quantum-resistant encryption technology designed to protect existing blockchain assets and enable secure chain migration.
