Ray-Ban parent company: Meta AI glasses sold over 7 million units last year, more than doubling in growth

Glonghui, February 12|EssilorLuxottica, the parent company of Ray-Ban, stated that its AI glasses, developed in collaboration with Meta, saw annual sales more than double last year, with over 7 million AI glasses sold in total. The combined sales of AI glasses in 2023 and 2024 reached 2 million units. In September last year, EssilorLuxottica and Meta launched a new generation of Ray-Ban products, which can be controlled through gestures and neural technology. The retail price is $799, and a small display screen has been added to one of the lenses. Meta has indicated that it will continue its partnership with Ray-Ban and has extended the long-term cooperation agreement into 2024, with both parties set to collaborate for the next decade.
