Anheuser-Busch InBev Reports Strong Fourth Quarter Earnings
Anheuser-Busch InBev SA, headquartered in Leuven, Belgium, announced a net profit of $1.96 billion for the fourth quarter.
The company recorded earnings of 99 cents per share, with adjusted earnings—excluding one-time items—coming in at 95 cents per share.
These figures surpassed the expectations of Wall Street analysts, who, according to a Zacks Investment Research survey of five experts, had anticipated earnings of 92 cents per share.
During the same period, the brewing giant generated $15.56 billion in revenue, which was slightly below the $15.58 billion forecasted by four analysts polled by Zacks.
For the full year, Anheuser-Busch InBev reported a total profit of $6.84 billion, or $3.45 per share, with annual revenue reaching $59.32 billion.
Since the start of the year, the company’s stock price has climbed 21%, and over the past year, shares have surged by 51%.
