Leidos Holdings Reports Fourth-Quarter Financial Results
Leidos Holdings Inc., headquartered in Reston, Virginia, announced a net income of $327 million for the fourth quarter.
The company’s earnings translated to $2.53 per share, while adjusted earnings—excluding special items—reached $2.76 per share.
These adjusted results surpassed analysts’ expectations, as a consensus of eight experts polled by Zacks Investment Research had predicted earnings of $2.57 per share.
During the quarter, Leidos generated $4.21 billion in revenue, which was slightly below the $4.25 billion anticipated by five Zacks-surveyed analysts.
For the full fiscal year, Leidos reported a total profit of $1.45 billion, or $11.14 per share, with annual revenue amounting to $17.17 billion.
Looking ahead, the company projects its full-year earnings to fall between $12.05 and $12.45 per share, with expected revenue ranging from $17.5 billion to $17.9 billion.
