Warner Bros. Discovery resumes talks with Paramount, potentially sparking a new bidding war

According to a statement released on Tuesday, Warner Bros. has reached a waiver agreement with the streaming giant, allowing it to engage in a seven-day negotiation period with Paramount regarding the terms of the latest acquisition offer. Previously, a Paramount banking advisor informed a Warner Bros. board member that if the company agreed to resume negotiations, Paramount would propose an offer of at least $31 per share. This is $1 higher than Paramount's previous offer. The company also stated that the current offer is not its "best and final" offer. Expand
