AtriCure Reports Fourth-Quarter Profit
AtriCure Inc., headquartered in Mason, Ohio, announced a net profit of $1.8 million for the fourth quarter, marking a turnaround from a loss in the same period last year.
The company reported earnings of 4 cents per share, with adjusted earnings—excluding one-time expenses—reaching 6 cents per share.
These results surpassed analysts’ expectations, as a consensus of three analysts polled by Zacks Investment Research had anticipated a loss of 2 cents per share.
During the quarter, the medical device manufacturer generated $140.5 million in revenue.
Annual Performance and Outlook
For the full year, AtriCure narrowed its net loss to $11.4 million, or 24 cents per share, while annual revenue totaled $534.5 million.
Looking ahead, the company projects earnings for the coming year to fall between 9 and 15 cents per share, with anticipated revenue ranging from $600 million to $610 million.
Stock Performance
Since the start of the year, AtriCure’s stock price has declined by 17%. As of the close of trading on Tuesday, shares were valued at $32.97, reflecting a 19% decrease over the past twelve months.
