Ascent Industries Co., headquartered in Schaumburg, Illinois, announced on Tuesday that it recorded a $1 million loss during the fourth quarter.
The company, which specializes in manufacturing stainless steel piping, storage solutions, and specialty chemicals, reported a quarterly loss of $0.11 per share.
During this period, Ascent Industries generated $18.8 million in revenue.
Looking at the full year, the company achieved a net profit of $867,000, or $0.09 per share, marking a return to profitability. Annual revenue reached $74.9 million.
Since the start of the year, Ascent Industries’ stock price has risen by just over 7%. By the close of trading on Tuesday, shares were valued at $17.38, reflecting a 57% increase over the past year.
