According to a report by Jinse Finance, based on data from the Bitcoin explorer, the 20 millionth Bitcoin will be mined tonight. This means that 95.2% of the total supply of 21 million BTC has been mined, and only 1 million BTC will remain to be mined over the next 114 years. According to Bitcoin's mechanism, the block reward is halved every 210,000 blocks, with the initial reward being 50 BTC, and subsequent halvings reducing the reward as follows: 25 → 12.5 → 6.25 → 3.125 BTC. When the Bitcoin block height reaches 940,000, the 20 millionth BTC will be mined. The current Bitcoin block height is 939,949, and based on an average of one block every 10 minutes, the 20 millionth BTC is expected to be mined around midnight (UTC+8).
