Hewlett Packard Enterprise Announces First-Quarter Financial Results
Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co., headquartered in Spring, Texas, revealed on Monday that it achieved a net profit of $423 million for its fiscal first quarter.
The company reported earnings of 31 cents per share. After adjusting for non-recurring items, earnings stood at 65 cents per share.
These adjusted earnings surpassed analysts’ expectations, as a consensus of six analysts polled by Zacks Investment Research had predicted earnings of 59 cents per share.
During the quarter, HPE generated $9.3 billion in revenue. However, this figure fell slightly short of the $9.32 billion anticipated by five Zacks-surveyed analysts.
Looking ahead, Hewlett Packard Enterprise projects its full-year earnings to be between $2.30 and $2.50 per share.
