USDai whitelist sale on CoinList ends, subscription amount exceeds $19.4 million
Foresight News reported that a certain exchange announced the whitelist sale of USDai on its platform has officially ended, with total subscription commitments exceeding $19.4 millions. The token allocation results will be notified to users via email; participants can apply for refunds before March 20, 2026; tokens will be 100% unlocked at TGE (expected in March 2026).

HSBC CEO responds to Hong Kong stablecoin license application: hopes to play a responsible role
Odaily reported that the Hong Kong Monetary Authority is striving to issue the first batch of stablecoin issuer licenses in March. Previously, there were reports that certain exchanges are expected to become the first approved institutions. In response, Georges Elhedery, Group Chief Executive of HSBC Holdings, stated that HSBC is interested in participating in all innovative developments in Hong Kong and hopes to play a role in them. Stablecoins can enable seamless, instant trade payments 24/7. Hong Kong allows HSBC to explore related innovative technology services for the financial system, such as tokenized deposits, which are part of this ecosystem. Currently, HSBC has already used blockchain technology to help issue bonds, such as Hong Kong government sustainable bonds, and is also involved in tokenized gold business.

Decentralized cloud storage service provider Akave completes $6.65 million seed round with participation from BBF and others
Odaily reported that decentralized cloud storage service provider Akave announced the completion of a $6.65 million seed round of financing, with participation from CVP NLH Advisors, Protocol Labs, No Limit Holdings, Blockchain Builders Fund (BBF), Big Brain Holdings LLC, Avalanche Foundation, and Filecoin Foundation. Akave Cloud is built on the Layer 1 blockchain Avalanche and aims to support enterprises running data-intensive AI and analytics workloads. The new funds will mainly be used to expand sales and marketing.
