Louisiana-Pacific Reports Fourth Quarter Financial Results
Louisiana-Pacific Corporation, headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, announced a net loss of $8 million for the fourth quarter.
According to the company, this equates to a loss of $0.11 per share. After adjusting for non-recurring items, earnings stood at $0.03 per share.
These adjusted earnings surpassed the expectations of Wall Street analysts, who, on average, had anticipated a loss of $0.06 per share, based on a survey by Zacks Investment Research.
During the same period, the building materials supplier generated $567 million in revenue, falling short of the $603.3 million projected by three analysts polled by Zacks.
For the full year, Louisiana-Pacific reported a net income of $146 million, or $2.08 per share, with total revenue reaching $2.71 billion.
