Previously, Samsung Electronics had reached a preliminary salary agreement with the union and postponed the planned strike, but the special performance bonus arrangement for the semiconductor division in the agreement has caused dissatisfaction among non-memory chip division employees. The related vote was originally scheduled to take place from May 22nd to 27th, and the final result is yet to be announced.
